On request, the Office provides educational assistance to schools in the Province of Florence, Prato and Pistoia: it conducts specific programmes, arranges workshops and itineraries in the Museums of the Special Superintendency for the State Museums of Florence.
Cost: workshops free of charge; Museum lessons, € 3.00 per student.

Guided visits for specialists

Contact should made directly with the Museum. 
Instruments not on exhibition may be viewed by scholars or musicians by appointment, subject to a written request. 
The conditions are those prescribed by the CIMCIM (1985). 
Technical and scientific information regarding the instruments in the collection may be obtained from the Museum.

There are two museum shops, one at the entrance and another at the exit of the museum.
